  36. Stopping in Hamilton?! That's where I live! Are we talking Hamilton, Ontario? This wouldn't be in April would it...

    ReplyDelete
  37. okie dokie...well..now for THE announcement...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh Yes...Hamilton Ontario...not sure the dates yet....but i have very close friends there and i'm producing their childrens show..

    ReplyDelete
  39. Awesome! Hope to see you once you're up here!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hamilton is next door to me. Well, six hourse drive but, in Canadian terms, that's pretty close!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Well, my friends...i thank all of you for the support for this film. This movie will be THE DEFINITIVE remake. We know there are haters out there, and ones very upset about us doing this movie....even some of the original creators are a little ticked... But..this film is not being made for the money, the publicity, or to make a quick buck by cashing in on the title...it's being made with pure heart and love and passion for the original. It is being made because we are sick of remakes and especially the ones that have tarnished this classic...
    so...with that...my announcement is..
Like the Original NOTLD...Our version, NOTLD(2012)....WILL BE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN...

    ReplyDelete
  42. public domain, just like the classic but i think they did that by accident

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am so proud to be a part of this!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes...they fucked up on theirs being public domain...we are doing it on purpose

    ReplyDelete
  45. i'm all for it either way you guys do it!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. That's amazing! Why did you choose to go public domain?

    ReplyDelete
  47. How much of a budget do you expect will be needed to make this film? (To the vision that you want it to be)

    ReplyDelete
  48. we want to give back to the creators...we want people to know that we are not stealing this idea and story...ours will be entered in the public domain as a sign of our love, pride, and respect of Night of the Living Dead

    ReplyDelete
  49. if we raise the funding on indiegogo for $90,000...then our full budget will be roughly $150,000

    ReplyDelete
  50. Your IndieGoGo campaign is off to a good start...

    ReplyDelete
  51. oh, if u need aircraft for props or flybys over head, i know some gents who could make it happen, one guy is as die hard NOTLD fan as I am and is on the east coast!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Well that is good news. Will classic dialog still be used? or is everything rewriten?

    ReplyDelete
  53. some original lines are being recycled...but it is a fresh retelling

    ReplyDelete
  54. we love flying in movies, transformers, gi joe, invasion...NOTLD would be the mecca for many of us

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ok...so now is the time for anyone that has questions to fire away...you got 20 min

    ReplyDelete
  56. will you be avialable to speak at all after this concerning the message i had sent you?

    ReplyDelete
  57. How many Devil Head Ghouls are there? Reason I'm asking is that at $200 a pop, you're giving a lot away (flight, hotel, food, etc). I donated already but was wondering how this is $$ feasible for you? Not being a hater or anything...just being inquisitive!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'll get in touch with you before Monster Mania

    ReplyDelete
  59. we are trying to raise the $90,000 for the film....the budget was broken down, showing that it would allow us to transport actors...in that, we decided to let fans buy a part in the movie

    ReplyDelete
  60. excellent, I look forward to hearing from you before Monster Mania. Especially since MM is fairly close to me.

    ReplyDelete
  61. As an idea, you might want to look into Casey Walker's "A Little Bit Zombie" idea. He sold every frame of the movie for $10 a piece and made $2 million to make his flick. Ended up getting Shawn Roberts (Wesker from Resident Evil) and Shawn McHattie (Pontypool). Any profit that is made is given back to the "associate producers" aka the donors by way of a donation to a donation to the environmental charity of their choice.

Either way, divying it up to $10 is exceptionally affordable to most people!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Is the setting for the movie modern day or 1968

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Talley, good question! I was wondering the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  64. wow, that is a really good questions... also will is be in B&W or color?

    ReplyDelete
  65. the setting of the film will be "unknown"...we are leaving it to the audience to come up with when they think it is...we want it "timeless"

    ReplyDelete
  66. other than appearances and facebook what other kind of promos can we look forward to

    ReplyDelete
  67. there will be the promo film released halloween night, t-shirts, posters, stickers, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  68. This is a very exciting project. What drove you to do this?

    ReplyDelete
  69. it sounds like you guys are gonna take this film to the next level i wish the best of luck you to your cast and crew and i'm really looking forward to seeing your verison

    ReplyDelete
  70. and coverage on spartanyouthradio.com of course!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Alright guys. Have a fantastic night. Matt I look forward to talking to you soon.
