Great question! The Ghouls in my version are what we've seen in Romero's original, only more expressed upon. They will be slow and lumbering but expect something brand new, something not used before, but nothing that will diverse from what Romero and Russo created. The only thing i can really say, is that we explore more of what the brain enables them to do and their motor functions.
Yes, it will be fully explored on each character of how they get to the farmhouse. Expect to see Ben as he goes through the "Beakman's Diner Massacre", Karen Cooper being bit, and much more. The beginning of the original story will not pick up until about the hour mark in ours. Think of it as a prequel mixed with a reboot. Although i cannot say what is the story behing "two Barbra's", i will confirm that Sarah Snyder will play the young Barbra, while Judith O'dea returns also as Barbra, one last time.
It will remain faithful to the original, but given a more grim spin to it. It's more on the lines of a reboot than a remake, in that a remake tells the same story while a reboot starts more fresh and explores more. My main goal is to make it disturbing and all out scary...something i feel zombie movies are not these days. It will have a premiere in the town of Luray, VA. when completed, other than that it's up to whoever picks the film up for distribution.
Who will portray the Ben chararter and is he gonna be like the Duane Jones Ben or the Tony Todd Ben. And is he still gonna be the only one making it through the night or does he die early
Mike Lord Sr. will be playing Ben. Our Ben will not be like Tony Todd's version, but not exactly like Duane Jones. In this, Ben will be a man who has one agenda in his mind, wanting to get back to his family. I can't say if he lives or dies, but it will be a change from what we've seen before.
What do you plan to shoot on?
